Al-Fayoum & Wadi El-Rayan

Early drive to Al-Fayoum from Cairo. We will stop in our way to visit Meidum it’s an archaeological site in Upper Egypt. It contains a large pyramid and several mudbrick mastabas, the Pyramid was Egypt’s first straight-sided one, but it partially collapsed in ancient times, it lies close to the entrance to Al-Fayoum and about 60 km south of Dahshur. Then, we will continue to visit Al-Fayoum major sights, we will see the famous water fall of Wadi El Rayan, then the protected area of Wadi Hitan with its petrified whales from 10000 years ago will stop for coffee at Helnan, then visit the Mudawara Mountain. We will be able to relax by Qaroun Lake where we stop for Lunch at Tunis Village before driving back to Cairo.
